What started as a joke inside my head, turns into an actual blog and posts. Which I didn’t expect.
Let me start from the beginning.
My name is fang. I am well known for some in the penspinning community and for others totally unknown.
I started in 2009 after watching a video that I later learned was called “A Collaboration” and especially from the JEB board in Japan. It was such a weird seeing a hobby like penspinning and in my eyes, was the coolest thing ever.
My own career was not really noteworthy. I did some tournaments and mostly got kicked out most of the time in the first round. I did some collabs, to be mostly filtered out.
As a spinner, I was not really good. That’s something I like to admit. My video’s were on a poor settup, with bad lighting and without a smooth finish.
With a history in videography, I did edit some collabs and wanted to be more active in the organizing roll.
I did however did pretty well social, something that always kept me going back to the penspinning world. We are just a bunch of weirdo’s and I fit right in.
That did make me an active member and after a while I was a pretty known figure on the Universal Penspinning Board (UPSB) and became a moderator (Next to people like Eriror, iColor, Hobby and others) and later on an administrator (Next to Kam, Zombo, and Zkhan).
I also ran the Dutch Penspinning community (NLPSC) for a while (next to Eriror, and Xienix) and not forget the few meetings I’ve been to, like the Duserforf meeting, the Bremen meeting and the Dutch meetings.

Now life happened and I haven’t really been active since 2020. In the meantime, I got a relationship, broke up, moved a few times, finished my degree, got a dead-end job, got fired,got a cat, and started my own company. Great times!
The penspinning community is something that makes me happy and I have a lot of good memories. I still follow spinners like RPD, Hobby, i.suk, and Coffee on youtube and watch when new collabs come out and not just the JEB Yearly Chistmas video and I have never left the discord groups of different penspinning communities.
So it makes me think I re-try this hobby again. Not to get really good (I’ve seen the currently level of ps, that won’t be me in a 1000 years), but just to have fun. I found my old penspinning pens again and I have the space to give it another go. My last uploaded combo on youtube was 2020 and I hope to upload something new and just enjoy my time on the board again.
So, this blog is a way to keep me on my toes and give out my thoughts (making video blogs is not really my thing). I hope you can enjoy the shit I am about to post.
